The Centre for Computational Medicine

About Us

The Centre for Computational Medicine (CCM), a Core Facility within the SickKids Research Institute, plays a crucial role in supporting the SickKids community by providing comprehensive computational services. These services range from high-performance computing (HPC) and research data management (RDM) to bioinformatics consultation, software development, and computational training.

Mission

The CCM is dedicated to empowering SickKids scientists and clinicians with cutting-edge computational tools and expertise to enhance their research and healthcare efforts. Through our services, we aim to support data-driven research, precision child health initiatives, and foster collaborations between biomedical and computational experts.

Vision

Looking ahead, the CCM seeks to drive digital transformation across the Research Institute. By promoting the adoption of computational methods and skills, we aim to accelerate advancements in healthcare and enable the SickKids community to tackle complex challenges in computational biology and precision medicine.
