For all papers that use HPC facility:
When SickKids has provided a HPC service, the following language should be used in the body text of peer-reviewed publications (e.g., in Methods and Materials or Results sections):
“[Data processing, data analysis, other computational service and/or technology accessed] was performed at the High-Performance Computing Facility, Centre for Computational Medicine, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.”
For acknowledgments of personal contributions other than authorship:
In the Acknowledgments section of peer-reviewed publications, when SickKids personnel have been especially helpful or have contributed significantly (in study design, data interpretation, or technology selection), and where the author(s) feel that it is warranted, the following sentence should be incorporated:
“The authors wish to thank [name of HPC / CCM team member(s)] of The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada for assistance with [activities / services performed / technology accessed]”
For all papers co-authored by HPC / CCM team members:
Please insert in Acknowledgements or Funding section:
“This research was enabled in part by support provided by Compute Ontario (computeontario.ca) and the Digital Research Alliance of Canada (alliancecan.ca).”
