Congratulations to Arteen Torabi-Marashi, Prajkta Kallurkar, and Andrei Turinsky on their contribution to a newly published study on the epigenomic factors associated with psychosis in 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (22q11DS). Led by Dr. Rosanna Weksberg, the research identified DNA methylation patterns associated with psychosis spectrum disorders, providing new insights into the biological mechanisms underlying psychiatric risk and highlighting the potential of epigenetic signatures to improve risk prediction and understanding of disease co-morbidities.
